1 T. butter or margarine
2 T. flour
1 cup milk
1/4 t. dry mustard
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions:

Melt margarine in small saucepan. Whisk in flour, stirring quickly to prevent lumps. Slowly add milk & stir til smooth. Cook til sauce thickens. Add mustard & cheese. Stir til cheese is melted.

This sauce is basically good for pouring over vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, potatoes). It helps dress up a dish & the kids will eat their veggies better :)
