1 stewing chicken
Carrots
Onions
Celery
Salt and pepper
Garlic

Directions:
Directions:
Boil stewing chicken 5 - 6 hours. Let sit overnight.
Remove meat from bones. Discard bones. Remove fat from broth. Add chicken meat back to broth. Add carrots, onions, celery, salt, pepper and garlic. Boil gently 1 hour. Thicken with flour and water mixture.
Make baking powder biscuits. Put chicken mixture in casserole. Serve with biscuits on top.
