1 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 cube butter (or margarine)
3 eggs
c. warm water
sugar
1 pkg dry yeast
5 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast into warm water. (Mix in tsp. Sugar to test yeast. After a few minutes it will foam slightly if the yeast is good.) In a small saucepan combine milk and butter. Cook over medium heat until butter is melted, being careful to stir often to prevent scorching. Set aside to cool slightly. In a small bowl beat eggs well. Add sugar to the egg mixture and mix slowly into the milk. Combine yeast, egg/milk mixture and 2 c. flour. Mix well. Add salt. Slowly add remaining 3 c. of flour, one cup at a time. Beat well between each cup, until well blended. Dough will be sticky. Cover and let rise until double.

Punch down risen dough and divide in half. Roll out onto floured surface into a circle. Cut into 12 slices and roll each from the large end to the small end. Place on greased cookie sheet and allow to double in size.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Butter tops of the rolls right out of the oven.
