2 c. flour
2 large teaspoons baking powder
1 small teaspoon salt
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients with fork. Add water and mix with fork. Knead until mixture is smooth. You may have to add a little flour or water . Let dough rest for 15 minutes and it will be easier to handle.
Break off a small pieces and pull flat like a scone
(that is what they really are). Fry in hot oil until brown. Turn over and brown other side.
Serve topped with chili, cheese, lettuce, sour cream and salsa. Or butter and jelly, or cinnamon sugar.
