c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1 t. soda
1 c. milk
2 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together first three ingredients. Add remaining ingredients. Fill prepared muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake @ 425 for 8-10 minutes. This is a great breakfast muffin.
