1 head lettuce
1 tomato
1 onion
1 avocado
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 12 oz. can kidney beans, drained
1 lb. hamburger or ground turkey
1 bottle Catalina dressing
2 c. crushed taco chips

Directions:
Directions:
Fry hamburger or ground turkey in frying pan. Drain grease. Cool. Drain liquid off kidney beans and rinse. Cut up lettuce. Dice tomato and onion. Grate cheese and avacado. Crush taco chips.
In large bowl, combine lettuce, tomato, onion, avacado, ground beef or turkey, kidney beans, and cheese. Pour 1 bottle or less Catalina Dressing into salad. Mix in crushed taco chips. Serve.

Brandon doesn't like kidney beans. I made this recipe quite often and he used to pile them up on the side of his plate because he didn't want to eat them. When there were left-overs on our plates we would give them to our Boston Terrier, Susie. She didn't like the kidney beans any better than Brandon. When you would go to pick up her bowl, there would be a pile of kidney beans left in her bowl.
