2 lb good quality Gruyere cheese coarsely grated
1 C dry white wine
5 cloves of garlic peeled and smashed
1 T cornstarch
2 T kirsch

Directions:
Directions:
Bring wine and garlic to boil in fondue pot
Turn heat to low and stir in cheese.
Mix together cornstarch and kirsch and add to fondue.
Add freshly ground pepper to taste.
Serve with chunks of crusty bread and fresh or blanched
vegetables.
