1 # Ground Beef
1 Cup Onion, chopped
1 Cup Cubed Raw Potatoes
1 Cup Sliced Carrots
1/2 Cup Diced Celery
1/2 Cup Shredded Cabbage
1 #2 Can Tomatoes or Stewed Tomatoes
1/4 Cup Rice
1 Small Bay Leaf
1 Can Garbanzo Beans
1/2 Tsp. Thyme
1/2 Tsp. Pepper
1 1/2 Qts. Water

Directions:
Directions:
Cook beef with onions until browned. Drain Add the vegetables and bring to a boil. Sprinkle with rice, seasonings and add water. Cover and simmer for about 1 hour.
