12 oz. frozen or fresh cranberries
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. red wine
1 3-in.cinnamon stick
1 7-in. strip of orange zest

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and wine in 3-qt. saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat. Add cranberries, cinnamon stick, and piece of orange zest. Turn up heat to high boil; watching carefully. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until cranberries burst. Remove from heat.

Remove cinnamon stick and zest from mixture. Cut orange zest into fine slivers and stir into sauce. Makes about 2 cups.
