8 eggs, yolks and whites separated 3/4 oz. rum Pinch of soda Couple drops of vanilla 1 c. sugar Brandy
Beat egg whites until stiff. Beat egg yolks separately. Mix rum with yolks. Also mix in pinch of soda and vanilla. Mix in sugar. Beat batter until stiff. Put batter into egg whites and beat. To serve put 1/2 c. of batter in cup. Put shot of brandy in cup. Fill with hot water. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. Serve hot.
