Ingredients:
3 pounds ground beef
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
2 tsp. BBQ seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare all ingredients in a bowl, mixing well. Prepare 4 to 6 well shaped burgers patties. Try to err on the side of thin versus thick. Let stand for 20 to 30 minutes before grilling. Prepare barbeque for direct grilling. Brush grill with vegetable oil, and place burgers over medium high heat. Turn once in 4-5 minutes; burgers should be firm enough to flip easily. Turn once again in 5 minutes. Move to cooler portion of grill and cook for an additional 15 minutes. Use a little less time for rare and a little more time for well. Serves 4.

Add a dash of soy sauce or teriyaki for an Asian flair, some Italian seasoning and grilled onion for a taste out of North Beach, or taco seasoning and chopped Ortega chilies for a South of the Border Burger.
