3/4 c margarine (1 1/2 cubes)
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
2 1/2 c flour
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt

Cream Cheese Frosting
1 cube butter, soft
1 soft cream cheese, 8 oz
2 lb pkg powder sugar
1 t vanilla
2-4 T milk

Directions:
Directions:
Beat margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. chill 1 hr and roll out. Bake at 350 for 7-9 min. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
Mix and beat frosting ingredients together, adding small amount of milk until reaching right consistency.

The frosting makes enough for a double batch of cookies. I always double this and keep in air tight container. These are great soft cookies.
