2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 4 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. shortening 3/4 c. milk (ice cold)
Sift baking powder, salt, and flour. Cut in the shortening. Add milk. Mix ingredients well. Place on a floured surface and knead. Roll flat. Cut biscuits and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 450º.
