1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 lb ground chuck or lean ground beef
8 (3 inch) buns or rolls cut in half
2 - 3 T mayonnaise

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 250 F. Preheat griddle to 350 F
2. Combine the spices and set aside
3. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and place the meat in the center and cover with plastic wrap. Roll the meat with a rolling pin until it covers the surface of the pan. Remove the plastic wrap and sprinkle the spices over the meat. Fold the meat lengthwise and widthwise with the parchment paper. Use a pizza wheel to cut the meat into 8 even squares.
4. Wrap the buns in foil and place in the oven for 5-10 minutes per side.
5. While buns are warming place the burgers on the griddle and cook for 2 - 3 minutes per side.
6. Remove buns from oven. Spread a small amount of mayo on each bun and top with a burger.
7. Serve quick because they are best when they are hot!
