1 large onion, chopped
3 med. cloves garlic, minced
1 T. dried parsley
1/4 C olive oil
1 #2-1/2 can tomatores
1 sm. can tomato paste
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 C. water
1# lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
4 T. butter
3 T. flour
3/4 C. grated Parmesan cheese
2 C. milk
2 egg yolks
1# pk lasagna noodles

FIRST STEP: In large skillet, soften onion, garlic and parsley in hot olive oil. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, pepper and water. Stir until well mixed. Add ground beef, breaking it up into little pieces. Cover and cook over low heat for 45 minutes.
SECOND STEP: Cook small onion in melted butter. Mix in flour, parmesan cheese and dash salt. Gradually stir in milk, stirring constantly until sauce is thick as heavy cream. Beat egg yolks and add a little sauce to them, then add all to hot sauce in pot. Cook over low heat 10 minutes.
THIRD STEP: Cook noodles according to package directions. Preheat over to 325 degrees. Grease a large baking dish and put layer of noodles on bottom, then meat sauce, then cheese sauce. Repeat until ingredients are all used.
Sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese if desired.
Bake 20-30 minutes.
