1-1/2# lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 C. beef broth
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 C. chopped green chilies
2 cups shredded jack or chedder cheese
2 T. flour
1/4 C. water
1/2 C. chopped tomatoes
1 regular size bag of oven baked tortilla chips

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet cook meat, onion, garlic until meat is no longer pink. Add broth, chilies, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Simmer 10 minutes.
Mix flour and water and stir into sauce. Cook and stir until slightly thickened.
Put layer of chips into greased casserole. Add 1/2 of meat sauce and 1/2 of cheese. Add another layer of chips. Cover with remainder of meat sauce and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
