Ingredients:
1/2 lb vanilla wafers, ground into fine crumbs.
Line bottom of pan, saving part for top. Crush one 5 cent stick of peppemint into crumbs. Fold into 1/2 pint of cream, whipped. Add 1/2 lb marshmallows, 1/2 cup nuts. Spread into pan. Cover with crumbs. Chill. (I assume this uses a 9x13 pan--didn't everything in the '50's?)

Personal Notes:
I copied this from Mom's recipe book years ago. because I liked it so much. I remember it as a tasty winter dish often taken to the many pot luck dinners. I have only made it once since and I misjudged how much peppermint to use to equal a "5 cent stick". I think it should probably have 1 cup or more of crushed peppermint.
