Wilda's Coffee Cake Recipe

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar

2 eggs

3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder

2/3 c. milk

1 c. brown sugar
4 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. cinnamon


Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and mix well.

Sift flour with baking powder and add to mixture alternately with milk.

Pour mixture into a 9 x 13 inch pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.

Mix topping ingredients and pour over cake batter. Bake in a 375 oven for 30-35 minutes.
