1 stick butter 1/3 c. sugar 2 c. milk 2 eggs 1 T. salt 2 pkg. yeast 1/2 c. warm water 6 1/2 c. flour
Heat butter, sugar and milk in a saucepan until brought to a boil. Cool. Let yeast stand in warm water for 5 minutes. Add to cool mixture and then add flour. Let rise until tripled. Punch down. Place in 2 loaf pans and let rise again. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes.
