2 sticks butter or shortening (Crisco)
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 t. salt
1 c. boiling water
2 eggs, beaten
2pkgs. yeast
1 c. cold water
6 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over shortening, salt, sugar, blend and cool.
Add eggs
Let yeast stand in cool water for 5 minutes. Add to other mixture.
Stir in flour, blending well. (This will be very sticky)
Cover and keep in the refrigerator at least 4 hours and up to 1 week. About 3 hours before using, roll out on a floured cloth-using enough flour to make them easy to handle. Cut into rounds. Place a little butter on each one and fold. Place in a greased cake pan-allowing to barely touch. Allow to rise at room temperature for 2 hours or until doubled. Bake fore 15 to 20 minutes at 425
