1 head lettuce, chopped
2 c. celery, chopped
2 c. green pepper, chopped
1 red onion, chopped
2 pkg. frozen green peas
3 c. mayonnaise
3 t. sugar
8 oz. grated cheddar cheese
8 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl layer ingredients in order. Spread mayonnaise evenly over top. Sprinkle with sugar, cheese, and bacon. Cover and chill 8 hours or more. Toss when ready to serve. Makes a very crisp salad.
