3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 t salt (she omits this)
2 eggs
1 c brown sugar
1 c sliced or diced dates
1 c chopped walnuts
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Line 9 X 9 X 2 pan with wax paper. Sift dry ingredients. Beat eggs until light. Add sugar gradually till smooth and fluffy. Mix dates, nuts, and flour mixture together, then stir in. Add vanilla. Mix well. Remove from pan and put on wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar.
