1 Cup yellow cornmeal,
1 Cup white flour,
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 Cup milk
2 Tbls. honey
4 Tbls. butter
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 large eggs, beaten
1 1/4 # yellow squash unpeeled and shredded (summer squash)

Preheat oven 350 Grease a 8" pan. Combine the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, turmeric, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk to blend thoroughly. In a small pan heat the milk,honey and butter until the butter melts. Remove from the heat and add the Parmesan cheese. Whisk in the beaten eggs. Add to the dry ingredients and blend well. Stir in the squash. Pour into the pan and bake 50 Minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
