2 1/2 c flour
1/4 c sugar
1 1/2 T baking powder
3/4 c cold butter
1 c cold milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. Grease 12 - 2 1/2" muffin cups.

Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk just until flour mixture is moistened.

Spoon evenly into prepared muffin cups. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.

Makes: 12 muffins
