Ingredients:
1 Package frozen dinner roll dough
2lbs hamburger
1/2 head cabbage
1 can sauerkraut drained well
1 large onion diced
Salt and pepper
Malto meal for cookie sheet

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, brown hamburger and onion. Add shredded cabbage and sauerkraut. Salt and pepper to taste. Drain very well. I like to do this the night before and put it in the fridge. Cool filling is easier to seal in dough than warm filling.
Flour table and rolling pin. Roll out each piece of dough into approximately 6 in circle. Place approximately 2 T. of filling in center of circle. Pull all the dough up around the filling and pinch together. Lay seam side down on a cookie sheet sprayed with oil and sprinkled with Malto-meal. After all runza's are made, let rise in warm place covered with dish towel. Bake @ 350 degrees until bread is a golden brown.

Personal Notes:
Mom always served this with brown gravy. I like them that way too or plain, or with Swiss or American cheese (add to top of filling before closing Runza)
