2 c. peeled and chopped apples
1 c. sugar
Pour sugar over apples and let stand 30 minutes

Add 1/2 c. oil, 1 egg, stir well.
Mix in
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2t. all-spice
1 t. soda
1/4 t. salt

Stir in 1 c. chopped nuts. Pour into loaf or tube pan, greased and floured. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
