1 8-oz package frozen noodles
1/3 c. chopped green pepper
1/3 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
1 11-oz. can condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 c. milk
1.5 c. chopped cooked chicken
1 4-oz. can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1/4 c. chopped pimiento
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
parsley sprigs

Directions:
Directions:
Cook frozen noodles in 6 cups boiling water; stir till separated. Cook till tender, 15-20 minutes. Drain and set aside. In saucepan, cook green pepper and onion in butter till tender. Blend in flour and thyme. Stir in soup and milk. Cool and stir till thickened and bubbly. Fold in chicken, mushrooms, pimiento, and noodles. Turn into 1.5 quart casserole. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350F for 30-35 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
