1 medium head of cabbage, shredded
1 or 2 carrots, shredded
A small green pepper, chopped
Chopped onion ( if desired)
3 T. sugar
1 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing with 1 1/2 tsp.
vinegar added

Directions:
Directions:
Shred the cabbage in mixing bowl. Add carrots, green pepper and onion. Add 3 T. sugar to the slaw and mix well. Add salad dressing mixture and mix well. Refrigerate.

I had always made vinegar slaw like my mother (like she used to fill the green peppers), but Marvin, David and Karen preferred creamed slaw. Aunt Janice gave this recipe to me.
