2/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 teas. grated orange peel
1/2 teas. vanilla
1 egg
4 teas. milk
2 cups flour
1 1/2 teas. baking powder
3/4 teas. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Cream shortening, sugar, peel & vanilla. Add egg, beat til light & fluffy. Stir in milk. Add dry ingred. Divide dough in half & chill 1 hour. On floured surface roll to 1/8". Bake on greased cookie sheet 6 -8 min.
