2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tsp oil
1 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ginger, freshly grated

mix:
1/4 cup water
4 tsp flour

6 chicken thighs skinned and deboned
olive oil
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 5 ingredients and heat on low. When mixture starts to get warm, slowly add water and flour mixture. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly till it obtains a syrupy consistency.

Coat chicken thighs with olive oil. Salt and pepper both sides. Let rest 30 min and grill.

Slice grilled meat into bite size pieces and drizzle with sauce. Serve over rice.

I like to make the sauce ahead of time and than warm in microwave for a few minutes before adding to chicken. This way I don't have as much to do at dinner time.
