1 c. (2 cubes) butter
6 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 T. (evaporated) canned milk
2 c. flour, sifted
1/2 c. flaked coconut, toasted
walnut or pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and cream cheese. Mix in the sugar, salt and vanilla. Add the egg and milk and beat well. Add the sifted flour and coconut and mix again until well blended. Drop dough by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Press 1 nut into the center of each dough ball. Bake at 325 degrees for about 20 minutes. These cookies will not be brown when done.
