3 T. margarine
1 t. peppermint flavoring
1 1/2 lb. powdered sugar
3 1/2 T. water (add coloring to water)
Dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine. Add peppermint and salt and mix well. Add colored water, mix. Add 1 lb. powdered sugar, blending until completely smooth. Knead 1/2 lb. powdered sugar into mixture by hand. Roll mixture into small balls or shape into molds or cut into shapes. Let dry on cookie sheet in refrigerator. When dry, store in tins or air tight containers to prevent hardening.
