1-1/4 cups sugar
Nutmeg
Cinnamon
Butter
Pie crust pastry for topping

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice apples to fill the pan you want to use. If an 11x17 pan is used - depending on the apples - cover with 1-1/4 cups sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon.

Dot with butter and then put on a top crust. Sprinkle water on crust. Bake in a 400 oven for about an hour.
