1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. wheat/white flour (or half and half)
2 tbsp. sugar or honey
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
3/4 c. skim milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tbsp oil
1/4 c. applesauce

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients. Add mil, egg, oil, and applesauce. Mix only until ingredients are combined. Spread batter in a lightly greased 9x9-in. pan; or fill nonstick muffin pans 2/3 full.
Bake at 400F for 25 minutes
