2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. dry powdered milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
6 tbsp. margarine or meat drippings
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. ice water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, dry milk, salt, garlic powder and sugar. Cut in shortening until mixture forms a ball. Pat dough 1/2 in. thick with fingers. Cut into strips, put in bottom of a buttered baking dish. Bake 25 to 30 min. at 350 F. Cool. Store in a tightly covered container. Serve to your dog.
