Ingredients:  
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp, ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 cup salad oil ( I usuallu use canola)
2 eggs
1 cup pumpkin (I usually use Libby canned pumpkin)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
Spread into a greased loaf pan.
Bake for 1 hr at 325.

I sometimes end up having to cook this a little longer to avoid a soggy middle. Also since the can of pumpkin holds just about 2 cups, I always make two, one for us, both Chris and I love this, and one to share. I like it fresh from the oven with butter, but it's also good toasted with cream cheese.
