4-5 cups water
3 cans cream of chicken soup
3 cans chicken broth
3-4 chicken breasts- raw and cubed
2 tsp minced onion
1/2 tsp basil
1 cup sliced carrots (I like a little more)
1 large package cheese tortellini
1/2 head broccoli

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients but last two- (tortellini and brocolli). Bring to boil and simmer. Add Tortellini and broccoli last 30 min. If pasta is frozen, can add sooner.

At the table, we garnish this soup with lemon juice, chili powder and parmesan cheese.

This is my family's favorite soup. You can't possible screw it up. The recipe says to wait to add the broccoli and tortellini, but when I'm in a hurry, I just throw it all in! It's even better the second day, so don't worry about halving the recipe.
