1 16-oz can salmon
12 white bread slices
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 10-oz pkg frozen peas, cooked and drained
1/4 cup instant minced onion
1 10-oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
4 eggs
2 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
About 1 1/2 hours before serving: preheat oven to 325. Brush melted butter on one side of each bread slice; arrange 6 slices, buttered side up, in one layer in well-buttered 13 x 9" baking dish. In medium bowl, with fork, flake salmon; stir in peas and onions; spread evenly over bread slices in baking pan; cover with remaining bread slices, buttered-side up. In another bowl, beat undiluted soup, eggs and milk until well blended; slowly pour over and around bread. Bake one hour or until knife inserted in custard portion comes out clean. Serve at once. Makes 6 servings.
