1 Package (4-serving size) Jell-O brand pudding and pie filling, lemon flavor
1 package (3 oz.) Jell-O brand gelatin, lemon flavor
1/2 cup sugar
2-3/4 cups water
2 egg yolks
2 egg whites
1/4 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine pudding mix, gelatin, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 cup of the water in a saucepan. Blend in egg yolks and add remaining water. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Remove from heat. Beat egg whites until foamy throughout. Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar and continue beating until mixture will form stiff shiny peaks. Quickly fold in hot pudding, blending well. Pour into 8- or 9-inch square pan or individual dessert dishes. chill at least 3 hours. Cut in squares. Serve with fresh fruit, if desired.
