1/2 c. margarine 2/3 c. packed brown sugar 2 3/4 c. whole wheat flour 1/2 c. water 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
Cream margarine and sugar well. Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with water and mix well. Let stand 30 minutes. Roll out 1/8 in. thick. Cut into 2 in. squares, place on lightly oiled cookie sheet and bake 20 minutes at 350º. Makes about 3 dozen.
