1 can of cherries
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp butter

Dough:
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Drain juice from can of cherries and heat with sugar and butter.

Dough: Mix ingredients and spread in a 9 x 9" or 8 x 8" pan. Pour cherries over the dough, and the juice mixture over the cherries. Bake for 40 minutes at 400.
