2 c all-purpose flour
1/2 sugar
3/4 c butter
1 c brown sugar
1 c light corn syrup
1/2 c butter
4 large eggs
2 1/2 c chopped pecans
1 t vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Crust:
In a large bowl, combine the flour and sugar. Using a pastry blender cut in the 3/4 c butter until it appears crumbly.Press the mixture evenly into a
greased 13x9 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees
for 18-20 minutes or until it appears lightly brown.
Remove and set aside.
Filling:
Combine the brown sugar, corn syrup, and 1/2 c butter in a saucepan and bring to a boil stirring gently.Remove from the heat. Stir 1/4 of this mixture into the beaten eggs, pour this into the remaining mixture. Stir in the chopped pecans and vanilla. Pour this filling over the baked crust and bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool completely and cut into bar cookies.
