3/4 butter
1/2 c sugar
1 egg
2 t vanilla
2 c all-purpose flour
1/2 t salt
2 c ground walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter, beating to a smooth consistency. Add the sugar and cream well.
Stir in the egg and vanilla and beat until fluffy Add the flour and salt to the mixture and then the
walnuts, blending all three well. Shape the mixture
into a small ball and place on an ungreased baking
sheet. Bake for 20 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
Cool for 2 minutes and then roll in confectioner's
sugar.

Makes: approximately 4 dozen
