1 head lettuce, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
3 sprigs parsley, chopped
2 cups peas, frozen
1 tsp. sugar
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup cheese, grated
1/4 cup bacon bits

Directions:
Directions:
Layer the first 6 ingredients in a salad bowl. Sprinkle sugar over peas. Spread about 1/2" thick layer of mayonnaise over top; Sprinkle with cheese and top with baking bits. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until used.

Grandma Kadavy use to make this salad. I forgot how much I loved this salad until we had a church dinner and they had it there. Try this recipe, you will be surprised how good it is.
