"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Ingredients:
11/2--2 lbs tenderized sirloin steak or round steak (cube steak can be used if time is important, it gets tender a lot faster)

1 Very thin sliced carrot

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, brown steaks in oil. Add large can of Tomato juice, onion and carrot.Place lid on skillet and cook on low until meat is tender and Tomato juice has reduced down to gravy consistency. More tomato juice may be needed to get meat tender enough. You may also put in the oven as you do not need to watch it so close. Place in oven at 350 until tender, approximately 1hr.
