2 cups sugar
2 cups flour sifted
1 stick margarine or 1/2 cup shortening
1 cup water
4 oz cocoa
1/2 cup buttermilk
2ggs. slightly beaten
1 teas vanilla
1 teas soda
1 teas cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Sift in large bowl 2 cups sugar and 2 cups flour.
Mix in sauce pan: 1 stick margarine, 1 cup water and 4 TB. cocoa.
Bring to a boil (rapid) and pour over dry ingredients. Mix well then add:
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 teas vanilla
1 teas soda
1 teas cinnamon
Mix well, pour in greased pan 16 x 11 inches or 9 x 13 inches. Bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees.
FOR ICING: Start 5 minutes before cake is done. Melt and bring to a boil: 1 stick margarine, 4 TB cocoa, 6 TB buttermilk. Then add 1 box powdered sugar, 1 cup pecans (pieces) 1 teas vanilla. Mix well and jpor on cake while still hot.
