1 c butter, softened
1 8oz cream cheese, softened
2 c all purpose flour
1/4 t salt
3/4 c finely chopped walnuts
1/3 c sugar
1 1/2 t ground cinnamon
confectioners sugar for dusting

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter and cream cheese, creaming until well blended. Combine flour and salt and add to the creamed mixture, mixing well. Shape dough into 8 balls; wrap each in plastic wrap and chill at least 2 hours.

Roll each ball, one at a time, into an 8" circle on a surface lightly dusted with confectioners sugar. Cut into 8 wedges. Combine walnuts, sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle approximately 1/4 of mixture over each wedge of dough. Starting at wide edge of dough, roll up each wedge, shaping each into a crescent. Place point side down on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly and then roll each crescent in confectioners sugar while still warm. Cool completely.

Makes: approximately 5 dozen
