1 C. walnuts
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Finely chop walnuts in food processor, or by hand. Set aside.
Combine flour and sugar in food processor and pulse a couple of times to mix. Cut butter into 6 chunks, add to processor and pulse until blended. Add chopped walnuts and pulse until blended with flour/butter mixture.

Press evenly into bottom of spring form pan. Sprinkle with another spoonful of sugar. Bake on lower shelf of oven at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until slightly golden brown on top. Remove from oven and let cool 5 minutes. Remove from pan and cut into 12 to 16 wedges. Be sure to cut while still warm or shortbreads will crumble.
