1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 cups quick cooking oatmeal
1 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups apple butter

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Stir in oatmeal and sugar, mix thoroughly. Add melted butter and blend well. Press half of mixture very firmly into a greased 12x8x2 baking pan. Spread with the apple butter. Cover with remaining oat mixure, pat lightly. Bake in a moderate-350-oven for 45-55 minutes or until lightly browned and done. Cool in pan and cut into bars.
