6 medium sweet potatoes, cooked and sliced
2 cups sugar
3 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. water

Directions:

Cook in an iron skillet in 250 degree oven until juice is candied or as thick as you like.

Aunt Sally, as she was known to the valley residents was one of the pioneering families in Elm Valley. She lived on the Rock Ranch until her death. She is greatly missed.
